The invention concerns a joint connection box, which comprises a socket part which can be attached to the end of the cable with at least one contact box 2 which has contact parts for electrically connecting together the contact box 2 and the cable and a surface layer 4 arranged on the surface of the socket part and tightly enclosing the socket part.
