The invention relates to a joint arrangement (1) in a shift mechanism for a motor vehicle, comprising a coupling element (2) cooperating with a gear lever (11), a mounting element (3) joinable to a gear lever carrier (17), and a damping element (4) arranged between the coupling element (2) and the mounting element (3). The damping element (4) comprises cooperating first and second slide surfaces (18, 19), which, by a relative movement, damp vibrations and substantially prevent vibrations from being transmitted between the mounting element (3) and the coupling element (2).
