PURPOSE: An outer prestressing reinforcement method using a carbon plate is provided to improve the load carrying capacity of a bridge. CONSTITUTION: The outer prestressing reinforcement method using a carbon plate comprises: an upper plate(110) provided with an anchorage-laying groove to reinforce a bridge; a carbon plate(150) arranged on the lower part of the upper plate using epoxy adhesives to reinforce against the stress transferred from the upper plate, or attached using epoxy adhesives, and provided with a carbon plate support; a fixed anchorage fixing one side of the carbon plate support of the carbon plate(150), and provided with a fixed end body and a fastening projection and a fixed end fastener to be fixed to the upper plate(110) using a fastening bolt; a tension anchorage installed on the opposite part to the fixed anchorage to make the carbon plate(150) support the upper plate(110), provided with a horizontal plate and a vertical plate welded to vertical boards, many fastening bolt holes formed on the side of the vertical board and a fastening bolt hole formed on one side of the horizontal plate fixed perpendicular to the vertical board to be fixed with the upper plate using a fastening bolt, and fixed by tensioning the other side of the carbon plate support of the carbon plate(150); and a curve anchorage installed on the curved part of the carbon plate to make shear reinforcement and bending reinforcement possible, and provided with an upper projection formed in the middle of a curved board and an spacer formed on the upper corner of the curved board, and fixed with the upper plate(110) using a fastening bolt through a fastening bolt hole of the spacer.
