Inorganic pigment granulates for colouring plastics, lacquers and building materials, and process for their preparation

Inorganic pigment granules (I) contain 0.1-10 wt.% (w.r.t. pigment) of at least one water soluble, hydrophilic or hydrophobic/hydrophilic processing aid (II) that is liquid at 25 degrees C. (I) have a particle size of 50-1500 mu , bulk density of 0.3-1.8 g/cm<3> and a water content of no more than 2 wt.% water (w.r.t. pigment). Also claimed is the preparation of (I) by mixing at least one pigment powder with 0.1-10 wt.% of least one processing aid (II) and granulating directly or in the form of an aqueous suspension.
