Electronic power switch consists of power modules (1) each having a plate-like integrated electronic switching arrangement (2) with electrical connections. An electrically conducting side part (3) is arranged on two opposite lying sides of a switching arrangement to form an electrical connection. Each power module has a U-shaped cross-section and the side part has connecting devices through which two or more power modules are electrically and mechanically connected together.
