PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data extracting method capable of making difficult copy between different media by acquiring the storage position information of a file stored on a data recording medium and generating data corresponding to a storage position from the storage position information. SOLUTION: A data extracting device 100 is composed of a storage arrangement acquiring part 10 for acquiring the storage arrangement of data in a file 310 from a data storage medium 300, a memory 20 for storing the acquired storage arrangement information or file data on the data storage medium 300 and a data generating part 30 for generating data. Then, the storage arrangement acquiring part 10 acquires the storage arrangement information. On the basis of the acquired storage arrangement information, data are generated. Therefore, by making data to be extracted from the file 310 depend on the arrangement of the file 310 on the storage medium, the copy of the file 310 can be disabled. After temporary erasure, the file 310 can not be restored by using separately held backup data, either. |
