PURPOSE: A fixing device of a gas shock absorber is provided to easily intermit and release the gas shock absorber by forming a hanging unit to the upper end of an inner pipe and hanging a stopper to the hanging unit by a hydraulic piston. CONSTITUTION: In a gas shock absorber having outer and inner pipes and a piston rod, a fixing device of the gas shock absorber mounted through a connecting hole of the outer pipe fixes or releases the gas shock absorber by inserting or separating a stopper(22) of the fixing device operated by hydraulic pressure to a hanging sill(12-1) formed at the upper end of the inner pipe. The fixing device comprises a housing(21); the stopper having a hanging projection(22-1) hung on the hanging sill and a spring contact unit(22-2) surface-contacting with a spring(23); the spring for moving the stopper left and right in the housing; a piston cap(24); a wire(25) connected to the center of the spring contact unit of the stopper and the piston cap; a hydraulic piston(26); and fluid(27) as an operating medium filled in the hydraulic piston, the wire, and the stopper. The stopper is embedded in the side of the housing.
