PURPOSE: A lift for a vehicle is provided to manufacture, transport and assemble easily by reducing the weight with manufacturing the support arm of aluminum alloy through casting, to cut down cost by increasing the productivity with integrally forming a reinforcing member, and to improve the rigidity by integrally forming the bush and the nut in the connection and assembling portions. CONSTITUTION: A lift for a vehicle is composed of a couple of supports; a carriage combined with the supports and lifted up and down; and a couple of support arms turned horizontally, combined with the carriage, and placed in the lower part of the vehicle to lift up the vehicle. The support arm is manufactured of aluminum alloy through casting. A round bush(50) is integrally inserted in the base part of the support arm, and made of steel stronger than the support arm. A nut(60) is integrally inserted in an end(34) of the support arm and made of steel stronger than the support arm. The fragile portion is protected against load by integrally forming the bush and the nut in the support arm. The nut is combined with a placing member(8) contacted to the lower part of the vehicle to adjust the height.
