PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming nuts for water pipe connection is provided which enables mass production of the nuts, thereby reduces production cost by sequentially proceeding perforating and tapping operations of the nuts in one process, thereby shortening working hours and improving working productivity. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a nut supply part for sequentially supplying nuts primarily processed to a certain length; a nut supply track(20) for guiding transfer of the nuts; a nut transfer part(40) on which a nut holding means(30) is formed to move the nuts to the postprocessing position in the state that the nuts supplied through the nut supply track are held; a nut supply means for separately supplying the nuts one by one to the nut holding means formed on the body of the nut transfer part; a perforating part(60) for perforating the nuts moved through the nut holding means; a tapping part(70) for forming screw thread on inner diameter of the body of the nuts sequentially displaced in the state that the nuts are perforated through the nut transfer part; a nut separating means for separating the screw thread formed nuts from the nut holding means; a nut discharge track(90) for discharging the separated nuts to the outside; a sensing sensor for detecting rotation timing of the nut transfer part; and a control part(110) for controlling operation of the respective components sequentially proceeded by signals detected in the sensing sensor.
