摘要 A rotary joint for gas return is integrated with a rotary joint passing cryogenic liquid, which is especially liquefied natural gas (LNG). Only a single roller bearing (44) is required for guidance in rotation of the integrated rotary joints. The central pipe (12) passes LNG. An externally-coaxial pipe returns cold gas (25) and carries an external, insulating coaxial jacket (39) between the two end flanges (13). All these components are on aligned sections capable of mutual relative rotation. The rotary bearing is located between the end faces opposite the jacket. A sealing joint (23, 27) is located between the end faces of the central and annular pipes, bearing and sealing joints being located in the parallel planes (P1, P2). Annular space between annular pipe and external jacket is filled with thermal insulant in two blocks (52), in the fixed and rotating parts, for relative motion. The inner wall of the annular pipe for gas return is the outer wall of the central pipe passing LNG. A sealing joint (23) is located in the central pipe (12), another (27) in the outer wall (29) of the annular pipe. Ring seals are concentric in the respective faces. The faces are spring-loaded together. The central- and annular pipes are coaxial and share a common wall.
