PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and easily falling and removing a combustion-generated ash mass generated on a combustion facility inner surface in a coal heat power plant or the like, and a method for molding combustion-generated ash ball therefor. SOLUTION: Combustion-generates ash such as coal ash collected in a combustion tower 11, a gas duct or the like is spherically cosolidated to form a combustion-generated ash ball 8. The combustion-generated ash ball is shot toward the combustion-generated ash mass generated on the inner surface of the combustion tower, the gas duct or the like by a pitching machine 20, and the combustion-generated ash mass falls by the impact of the collision of the combustion-generated ash ball.
