PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan capable of reducing man-hour for assembling a stand portion 5. SOLUTION: The stand portion 5 is provided with an upper surface plate equipped with a strut insertion recessed portion 35 in which a strut base portion 16 is fitted, and a male screw insertion hole 39 formed on a bottom surface of the strut insertion recessed portion 35 and in which a fixing male screw 31 is inserted; a base plate 19 applied from a lower side of the upper surface plate 18 and equipped with a female screw fixing hole 46 in which the fixing female screw 31 is inserted at that time; peripheral side hook grooves 42 provided on a peripheral side plate portion of the upper surface plate 18 at generally even intervals; and a plurality of recessed portion side engaging hooks 44 at an end portion of the male screw insertion hole 39. The stand portion is formed by a peripheral side engaging hooks 48 provided on a peripheral side plate portion of the base plate at generally even intervals, and hook engaging portions 36 made by providing a plurality of recessed portion side hook grooves 47 at an end portion of a male screw fixing hole 46.
