PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire abnormality detecting method by which the production cost is reduced and erroneous recognition and erroneous report can be prevented. SOLUTION: A tire abnormality detecting method of detecting abnormalities of a tire attached to a vehicle comprises the steps of detecting sound or vibration occurring from the tire, analyzing the frequency of the sound or vibration detected, and discriminating whether the frequency analyzed is within a predetermined frequency set in advance to detect abnormalities of the tire.
