METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING DIFFERENTIATED CELLS

It is intended to provide a method of conveniently constructing differentiated animal cells in a large amount and a method of controlling cell differentiation. Namely, a method of constructing differentiated cells characterized by comprising the following steps: (a) the step of culturing vascular endothelium-origin cells in a medium containing a growth factor; and (b) the step of removing the growth factor from the cell culture medium or inhibiting the activity of the growth factor and then further culturing the cells; to give cells capable of differentiating into cells of another type and/or cells having been differentiated into cells of another type.
