VACUUM HIGH-VOLTAGE SWITCH

The proposed vacuum high-voltage switch contains one or several pole units. Each pole unit contains two current contacts. Between the current contacts, a vacuum arc chute is installed that is coupled with the switch actuator by insulating link. The casing of the pole unit, in which the arc chute is installed, is protected against weather impacts by elastic gaskets that are installed between the split parts of the casing. The insulation of the switch ensures the required electric strength at relative humidity of 100 % with steam condensation. The insulating link passes through an antifriction sleeve that is installed in the opening of the lower flange of the pole unit.
