<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of remarkably reducing its starting time. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell is composed by storing a plurality of fuel cell units 2 each having a gas flow passage 17 in the axial length direction in a storage vessel 1 at predetermined intervals.
