<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a modified content to determine whether a related document is required to be modified or not, when a document is modified, and to automatically modify the related document when the related document is confirmed to be modified. <P>SOLUTION: In this modification repercussion control support system for a document control system, repercussion of the modified document is grasped to modify the document automatically by providing an input field definition and a lay-out definition to correlate respective items in the documents.
