<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of performing high-quality display free from mixture of colors by preventing different coloring materials or light emitting materials from going into adjacent unit pixel areas. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of color pixels consisting of a plurality of unit pixels LD having different display colors are arranged in a first direction S1 of a display face and a second direction S2 crossing the first direction. The unit pixel LD is constituted of display sections R, G, B and non-display sections N positioned in the first direction S1 of each of the display sections. The display section and non-display section of the unit pixel adjacent to each other in the second direction S2 are alternately arranged in the second direction S2. A bank section BK is provided at least on the boundary of each unit pixel LD constituting a plurality of color pixels along the second direction S2, and light emitting materials are applied by an ink-jet device to each of the display sections R, G, B in the recessed part formed between the bank sections BK. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
