On a display panel data can be displayed graphically e.g. speed (a),oil level (b) or alphanumerically e.g. (d) name and frequency of radio station. An input unit (a remote transmitter or dashboard mounted keyboard, joystick, trackball or mouse). The display enables selection of the form of display, its size and position on the display panel. Data which it is not necessary to display permanently, e.g. fuel level, can be called up and displayed briefly. |
