<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based polyurethane resin highly adhesive and good in boil resistance and suitable for water-based printing ink. <P>SOLUTION: The polyurethane resin is obtained by subjecting an amino-terminated polyurethane resin to chain extension with an epoxy compound. This water-based polyurethane resin has the following advantages: lessening organic solvent-removing step, affording high pigment dispersibility, giving printed matter with high-quality appearance( good printing effect ), and good adhesion to substrates, etc. This water-based polyurethane resin is highly useful when used in printing ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
