PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving magnet motor for suppressing the separation of magnetic powder while reducing the cost. SOLUTION: The moving magnet motor comprises a rotor magnet 4 having a through-hole 41, a rotating shaft 5 inserted to the through-hole 41 of the rotor magnet 4, and housings (bearing members) 11, 12 for supporting the rotating shaft 5. The rotor magnet 4 is formed of a plastic magnet composed of the magnetic powder P and a synthetic resin binder B. A taper 51 formed into an arc-shape in its cross section is formed at the end of the rotating shaft 5 that penetrates the through-hole 41 when the rotating shaft 5 is inserted to the rotor magnet 4. The particle size of the magnetic powder P constituting the rotor magnet 4 is set at 150<SB>mesh</SB>or larger, and an introduction part 42 spreading toward the insertion direction of the rotating shaft is formed at the end that is at least the insertion side of the rotating shaft 5 of the through-hole 41 of the rotor magnet 4.
