PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent video recording of redundant image data wherein a change in an video image less in the case of recording the video image imaged by a slave unit at the entrance to a video recording unit for a plurality of number of times. SOLUTION: A change between a latest recording video image recorded in a memory 35 of a video recording unit 3 and image data of a skin color part corresponding to the human body of a visitor among image data of video images at the door ways imaged by a camera 11 of the entrance slave unit 1, can be obtained by a cross-correlation coefficient or the difference between both the video images by means of image comparator circuits 34, 34a. Further, image data at each of different imaging times from the door ways and n-division screen image data (n is a positive integer of 2 or over) compressed via an image compression / expansion codec 36 are recorded to memories 37, 38 repetitively for a plurality of number of times by using a change in the video images obtained by the image comparator circuits as a trigger generater.
