PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device equipped with constitution that an optical element is uniformly heated. SOLUTION: A virtually imaged phased array (VIPA) optical element 24, a lens 20 and a fixed member 25 in which the element 24 is fixed are put in a housing 23 having entrance and exit ports 22 and 26 for receiving/emitting the light of the element 24. The temperature of the housing 23 and the inside of the housing 23 is controlled by a temperature control heater 21. The ports 22 and 26 of the housing 23 are covered with the member 25 and the lens 20 so that the temperature of the inside of the housing 23 may not be influenced by the inflow of the outside air.
