PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time interval/voltage transducer with lowest nonlinearity for time stamping of events. SOLUTION: This transducer is configured so that it automatically select either one of two clocks associated with reference clock and allows the time period between events edge and clock edge to properly operate a switch (16b), ensuring the time period becomes long enough to produce extremely linear time/voltage conversion. And also this transducer is configured so that it correlates the events edge with a first clock signal when the events edge generated during a first part of clock cycle of the first clock signal, or with a second clock signal instead of the first one when the events edge generated during a second part of clock cycle of the first clock signal.
