<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make even a printer being shared with a plurality of terminal devices rapidly recover from troubles by confirming a job sender and a title of a job being processed. <P>SOLUTION: The system being shared with a printer through a plural number of terminal devices connected with a network inputs the name of a user and a title of a job from a terminal device and sends them out in turn as a printing job data together with the data for printing. The printer separates the user' name and the job title from the received data for printing (S102) and waits to get ready for printing (S113) in case, for example, a kind of trouble resulting from the difference between the size of the designated paper and that of the selected paper feeder occurs (S111), and awaits the processing by the user (S115-S118, S120) displaying the user's name and the job title (S114) on a panel display for the processing of the printer indicating the difference of the paper size thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
