PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine to dry a ceiling surface by sprinkling water on the water repellent ceiling surface instead of drying the ceiling surface by spraying air on the ceiling surface of a vehicle by using a blower and capable of improving a drying effect by reducing the amount of water remaining on the ceiling surface after the drying. SOLUTION: This drying device has a water layer forming device capable of forming a layer of water continuing from a right end of the ceiling surface to a left end on the vehicle ceiling surface having water repellency and a water layer separation device capable of jetting air to a center in the car width direction of the ceiling surface so as to expose the ceiling surface of the center to an air layer by separating the water layer formed on the ceiling surface by the water layer formation device at the center in the car width direction of the vehicle.
