<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor thermal recording body which can offer clear tones, prevents the fog of the respective tones, and has excellent color separability. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording body is constituted in such a manner that a primer coat layer and a thermal recording layer are sequentially laminated on a substrate; the primer coat layer predominantly contains a pigment and a binder; and the thermal recording layer contains at least two kinds of colorless or light-colored dye precursors which develop colors with different tones, respectively, and an organic developer which develops color by reacting with the dye precursors. In the thermal recording body, a rate of change per unit second in an angle of contact of the primer coat layer with water is 10°/sec or more, and at least one kind of the dye precursor is contained in a composite fine particle containing the dye precursor and a polymer of a polyvalent isocyanate compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
