<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic die for multi-fiber optical connector having a member for accurately holding a plurality of pins for forming holes since position shifts of the plurality of pins for forming holes in the multi-fiber optical connector as factors determining the accuracy of the holes need to be reduced in order to improve the accuracy of the holes. <P>SOLUTION: Since the plurality of pins are loaded in a accurately finished molding die and sealed with resin to easily manufacture a component of the metallic die for optical connector with high accuracy, the multi-fiber optical connector having high hole accuracy can be formed with the metallic die. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
