PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive recording sheet showing superb lightfastness before color development.

SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive recording sheet has a chromogenic layer which contains a microcapsule encapsulating an electron-donative dye, formed on one side of a support. The microcapsule contains a phenol antioxidant represented by formula (1) (wherein R1and R3are each an alkyl group; R2and R4are each a secondary or a tertiary alkyl group; X is a hydrocarbon group or a sulfur atom) and a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorbent.
