<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor device which is compact and produces high cooling effect. <P>SOLUTION: The NPN transistors Q1 to Q6 and the diodes D1 to D6 contained in an inverter which drives a motor are disposed on a sloped portion 26c of the case 26a of the motor in proximity to slits 26b. A pulley 18 is coupled with the rotating shaft of the motor and disposed in proximity to the slits 26b. The pulley 18 is also coupled with the crankshaft of an engine or the pulleys of auxiliary engines through a belt. With respect to cross-sectional structure, the pulley 18 has a plurality of air holes, and air flows are generated there by the rotation of the motor, the crankshaft, and the pulleys of the auxiliary engines.
