PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a chopstick case easy to take out chopsticks and wash. SOLUTION: A case body 16 has a bending part 24 bendable in a direction of separating from a closing face A of a cover body 18. Bending the bending part 24 renders ends of the chopsticks 12 housed in the case body 16 exposed outside the case body 16, allowing the chopsticks 12 to be easily taken out by gripping exposed parts thereof by the hand. The cover body 18 is provided with a groove line 42 as an "engaging part" to be engaged with a protrudent line 28b of the bending part 24 at closing an opening 14. Closing the opening 14 prohibits bending of the bending part 24, not allowing the chopsticks 12 to be exposed outside the case body 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
