<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator, which smoothly discharges a coating liquid from the top of a tip at a first writing and the interior of a coating liquid tank of which can be easily pressurized. <P>SOLUTION: This applicator consists of a barrel 10, to which the tip 20 rotatably holding a spherical coating body 21 thereon is fitted through a joint 30, and the coating liquid tank 40, the top opening of which is sealed with a plug 42. On the barrel, skewed grooves 14 are formed, while projections 43 to be fitted to the skewed grooves 14 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the coating liquid tank. At the first writing, by rotating the coating liquid tank, the projections on the coating liquid tank are slanted from the rear end positions of the skewed grooves to their front end positions, resulting in advancing the coating liquid tank so as to release the sealing of the top opening of the coating liquid tank in order to feed the coating liquid in the coating liquid tank to the tip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
