<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence display device which increases the production yield by relaxing the accuracy required for positioning organic electroluminescence elements, prevents lowering of an effective light emitting area, and secures uniformity of light emitting, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the device. <P>SOLUTION: Light emitting layers 22, 24 and 26 of R pixels R<SB>pix</SB>, G pixels G<SB>pix</SB>and B pixels B<SB>pix</SB>, and electron carrier layers 28 are formed in a column-wise direction in a striped shape. The red light emitting layer 22 and electron carrier layer 28 in the R pixels R<SB>pix</SB>are continuously formed in a first deposition chamber with a common mask 2. The green light emitting layer 24 and electron carrier layer 28 in the G pixels G<SB>pix</SB>are continuously formed in a second deposition chamber with the common mask 2. The blue-white light emitting layer 26 and electron carrier layer 28 in the B pixels B<SB>pix</SB>are continuously formed in a third deposition chamber with the common mask 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
