PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip case in which an unsealed seal can be judged, and which is low in cost and is easily unsealable. SOLUTION: The chip case comprises a housing main body 2 which is a box shape having an opening part on one of main faces and has a space for storing a plurality of throw-away chips, and a lid body 3 closing the opening part of the housing main body 2. The case main body 2 and the lid body 3 are approximately rectangular, and an area from the lid body 3 part to the back face 5 part of the housing main body is strictly sealed with a label 4 whose back face comprises a seal material in such a way that the long side of the label 4 is positioned there. A notch 6 being oblique to the case main body 2 is provided on at least one of the short sides 10 positioned at a lid body 3 part of the label 4 or at the back face 5 part of the case main body.
