<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush preventing a connecting part between a head and a handle from obstructing the brushing of teeth and having a strength for withstanding the use. <P>SOLUTION: This toothbrush detachably and rotatably supports the head 3 with a brush 2 to the tip part of the handle 1. This toothbrush is characterized in that the tip part of the handle 1 is provided with a spherical projection part 4, the rear surface of the head 3 is provided with a spherical recess part 5 for fitting the projection part 4 therein and grooves 11 radially continuing from the recess part 5, and the head part has elasticity of expanding the grooves 11 when fitting the projection part in the recess part.
