<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimmer which can naturally compensate the voltage drop caused by the length of load wiring cable easily, vary output characteristics according to every factor such as rated capacity of the dimmer or load capacity, etc., in a simple circuit configuration, make fine power control, and be easily connected to a digital input/output equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The dimmer converts the detection current from a load wiring 3 into digitalized detection current signal, inputs it into micro-computer 30, and controls the output from the power controller 20 according to the strength of controlling output from the micro-computer 30. It has a compensation level determining means 31 in its memory as a program for operating CPU to determine a compensation value for compensating the voltage drop in the load wiring 3 according to the detection current signal and set up the control output according to the compensation value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
