SOLUTION JETTING TYPE METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECORDING MEDICAL IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record medical images with a high resolution and many gradations on a recording medium by jetting minute liquid droplets of a solution, to enable jetting of minute liquid droplets and enhance a hitting precision by jetting stable liquid droplets, and to reduce an application voltage. SOLUTION: In an inkjet printer 100 as a solution jetting type apparatus for recording medical images which has nozzles capable of jetting solution liquid droplets of a superfine diameter, a pseudo halftone process such as error diffusion or dithering is carried out on the basis of an inputted medical image signal. Superfine diameter liquid droplets of ink as the solution are jetted from the nozzles by a solution jetting system on the basis of the processed medical image signal, whereby the medical image with the high resolution and many gradations is recorded to the recording medium O supplied from a feed tray 120.
