PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the approach or collision to a mobile object such as a bicycle other than automobiles. SOLUTION: A course 63 of an own vehicle 61 in an intersection is estimated. The mobile object other than automobiles around the vehicle is detected, and its course 65 in the intersection is estimated. When the estimated course 63 of the vehicle intersects with the estimated course 65 of the mobile object, the approach of the mobile object to the vehicle is reported. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
