PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polyamine which has a low viscosity and a low unreacted polyamine content and, when used as an epoxy resin hardener, gives an epoxy resin composition giving a hardened resin with good performance. SOLUTION: The specific modified cycloaliphatic polyamine is provided for the above purpose. There are also provided the epoxy resin hardener containing the modified cycloaliphatic polyamine, the epoxy resin composition containing the hardener, and a hardened epoxy resin obtained by hardening the composition.
