PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router for eliminating the need for an exclusive server such as a SIP server making call control of an IP phone so as to apply the call control to a destination whose IP address is not fixed. SOLUTION: A domain name including a character string received via a prescribed port of a caller side router or a character string stored inside a router main body is used for a domain name of a called side router and a dynamic DNS server is inquired by the domain name. Thus, a concerned IP address is obtained and the IP address is called. Thus, a server acting the call control is unnecessitated unlike the conventional SIP server. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
