PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for automatically recording and reproducing contents of satellite or cable media for a school Internet broadcast service are provided to serve educational broadcast contents of EBS through a self-Internet broadcast service, and automatically record the educational broadcast contents of EBS by an appointed broadcast schedule. CONSTITUTION: A satellite/cable broadcast(100) receives educational broadcast contents of EBS(Educational Broadcasting system). A recording server(110) and a TV receiving card(120) store the educational broadcast contents of EBS. A general VCR(Video Cassette Recorder)(130) records the educational broadcast contents of EBS from the recording server. Backup disks(140) store the recorded educational broadcast contents of EBS separately. A contents server(200) is installed in school for realizing a self-Internet broadcast service. User computers(300) are installed in school, having an application program each.
