PURPOSE: A method of a driving display, a display, and a computer program for the same provided to improve an image quality even when the display is not to be driven normally by modulating or changing a driving signal. CONSTITUTION: A display includes a memory(21) for storing data of a drive signal input at a first time, a modulator(22,23) for modulating a drive signal input at a second time subsequent to the first time based upon the stored data so as to facilitate a tone transition from the first time to the second time, a comparison result memory(26) for storing a result of a comparison of the stored data corresponding to the drive signal input at the first time and data input at a time previous to the first time, and an adjustor. The adjustor adjusts a degree of modulation by the modulator with reference to the result of the comparison stored in the comparison result memory.
