PURPOSE: A method and a suitable device for printing a web page are provided to efficiently print other web pages linked to the printed web page on a network printer equipped with a web browser and a network card. CONSTITUTION: A URL(Uniform Resource Locator) input part(202) receives a URL of a web page to be printed. A contents loader(204) accesses a web server(240) through a network card, obtains web page information corresponding to the inputted URL, and provides the web page information to a contents parser(206). The contents parser separates the contents data to be printed and the URL from the web page information. A contents layout part(208) makes a layout for a position and the contents of the information provided from the parser on a printing paper(214), provides layout information to a contents rendering part(210), and provides location information of the URL to a URL memory(220). The contents rendering part converts the layout information into a printing instruction to be processed by a printer engine(212). The web page information is printed on the printing paper by printing operation of the printer engine.
