INTERNET PHONE DEVICE OF MP3 PLAYER AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An Internet phone device of an MP3(MPEG level 3) player and a controlling method thereof are provided to transmit/receive voice/text/data with wire/wireless communication terminals through a computer and store the data by adding an Internet phone function to the MP3 player. CONSTITUTION: A hub controller(110) controls a data path for the Internet phone or the MP3 player by connecting to a USB(Universal Serial Bus) connector(21) and an MP3 CODEC(COder/DECoder)(25). An Internet phone flash memory(120) stores a program for using the Internet phone. A flash controller(130) sets up an Internet phone use environment by automatically transmitting the program stored in the flash memory to the PC. An audio CODEC(140) converts a voice into a digital signal and converts the digital signal through the Internet into a voice signal when the Internet phone is used. An audio switch(150) selects the voice signal of the MP3 CODEC when the MP3 player is used, and selects the voice signal of the audio CODEC when the Internet phone is used.
