PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely improve purifying work of exhaust gas and lower heating temperature on a wall surface on the outside of a muffler by simply improving the muffler to be used for a small-sized engine. SOLUTION: The muffler constituted by providing at least one piece of a first exhaust gas purifier 15 on which a catalyst to purify exhaust gas is applied on a base body with numerous pores between a first expansion chamber 12 and a second expansion chamber 14 by providing the first expansion chamber 12 of exhaust gas having an exhaust gas inlet 11 to be connected to an exhaust port of an engine and the second expansion chamber 14 having an exhuast gas outlet 13 constitutes its characteristic of forming the wall surface of the second expansion chamber 14 which is at least not the side to be installed on the engine of double wall surfaces 14a, 14b with a specified interval between them. |
