PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sector type mass spectrometer capable of precisely measuring the concentration of a desired constituent to be measured by skillfully correcting a sensitivity change. SOLUTION: The concentration of a reference constituent representing sensitivity is simultaneously monitored in addition to the concentration of a constituent to be measured, and a variation in sensitivity caused by background factors is corrected based on the monitoring result.
