PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of degasing liquid chemical, by which a gas dissolved in a liquid chemical to be treated can be removed without deteriorating a membrane material and altering the composition of the liquid chemical to be treated. SOLUTION: The liquid chemical to be treated contains an organic solvent having a cohesive energy density of≥13 (MPa)<SP>1/2</SP>square root. In this method, the liquid chemical to be treated is sent to one side of a polyolefin-made homogeneous membrane and reduce the pressure of the other side of the homogeneous membrane is reduced.
