<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording paper which is excellent in ink absorbing properties, suppresses generation of beading, is excellent in bleeding resistance, and exhibits high printing density. <P>SOLUTION: The recording paper has an at least one ink receiving layer on a substrate. At least one layer of the ink receiving layers comprises a compound with a partial structure of formula 1 (except latex particles). The outermost surface layer of the ink receiving layer is an interstice type ink receiving layer comprising inorganic fine particles with a mean particle diameter of 10-60 nm as a main component, and the cold water extraction ratio of the compound with the partial structure of formula 1 from the whole ink receiving layer is made ≤1%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
