<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for hydrothermal reaction which can prevent the corrosion of discharge pipes or the like after a reaction vessel and easily carry out the hydrothermal reaction. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus for the hydrothermal reaction where organic substance-containing liquid to be treated is treated by hydrothermally oxidation reacting the liquid in the supercritical or subcritical state of water of the reaction container 21 to discharge the treated fluid from the reaction container 21 through the discharge pipes 31, 33, 34, at least the contact parts of the discharge pipes 31, 33 and a cooler 32 contacting with the treated fluid whose temperature is 300°C or higher is made of titanium or titanium alloy, and a neutralizing agent feed mechanism (15, 16) for feeding a neutralizing agent is installed on a part of the discharge pipe 34 where the temperature of the treated fluid becomes 300°C or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
