PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor in which an auxiliary yoke does not move on the peripheral wall of a yoke body only by a simple assembly work. SOLUTION: A latching opening 13d is formed on the peripheral wall of the yoke body 13 of the electric motor 10, and a deformable band section 14d capable of deformation in the direction of the latching opening 13d is formed on the peripheral wall of the auxiliary yoke 14. The deformable band section 14d is pressed and deformed in the state where the yoke body 13 and the auxiliary yoke 14 mutually fitted and sunk into the latching opening 13d to fix the auxiliary yoke 14 on the yoke body 13. A stopper section 14f on the auxiliary yoke 13 is brought into contact with the yoke body 14 so that the latching opening 13d may face the deformable band section 14d, and stops the movement of the auxiliary yoke 14.
